hey girl, okay so listen. I have been having a full-blown meltdown over my wardrobe for the last three weeks. Nothing felt right. Everything was either too boxy or trying way too hard. And then I remembered the holy grail of my middle school years: the 2000s v neck fit. I know, I know. We swore we'd never go back to the era of low-rise jeans and weird layered tank tops. But here I am, eating my words. I literally bought a grey ribbed v-neck last Tuesday and haven't taken it off since. I'm not a stylist, but I did spend an embarrassing amount of time in front of my mirror trying to make this look work, so trust me on this one.
The V-Neck Is Not What You Think It Is
Okay, so when I say "2000s v neck fit," I don't mean you should go full Paris Hilton circa 2005 and wear a tiny crop top with a massive rhinestone belt. I tried that. It looked like I was going to a themed birthday party where the theme was "regret."
